About

Nathanael Hahn (b. 1998) is a schoolteacher in the great state of Wyoming. He graduated
with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2020. He took
up choral composition as a hobby during his time singing in the university choir, but it
has since become one of his passions.

Hahn composes mainly for choir, setting largely religious texts to music, although
he has set secular texts as well. He has also composed for orchestra and has written music
for podcasts. In 2020 he won the WCDA Student Composition Contest with his piece
“Love Bade Welcome,” and has had his choral work performed at the collegiate level.

Hahn, a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, hopes to continue to write
for the edification of the church, but also for the enjoyment of all Christians, or anyone who
would find joy in listening. If you would like to program his music, or if you would like to
receive email notifications of any newly released music, you can
contact him at nhahnmusic@gmail.com.
